Dr Lai Mei Ling

Dr Lai Mei Ling, aged 63, is a Malaysian. She was appointed as a Director on 7 April 2000 and as a Senior Director on 28 August 2001.

She is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee and the Nomination Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee. Dr. Lai holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the Kennedy-Western University (USA) and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

She is an Associate Member of the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

She presently sits on the Board Tahan Insurance Malaysia Berhad and several other non-listed companies.
